A fantastic time had in Turkey. My qualification round started off so well that I was joint 16th after 3 end. Strangely as I started to relax the groups opened up! Ended on 680. In my head to head I was up against the Korean Youngho Yang. It was a tight match - going into the last end I was 116 against his 118. I knew I needed a 30 to really stand any realistic chance of a win. I tried a little too hard and my form suffered - lost it 147 against 142. A great and valuable experience all round, but I need to keep up the performance when I start to relax and not just when I'm fully hyped up! I took some photos which are viewable in my gallery here.

Managed 1st gents compound at the Bath Double 1440. A wet and blustery weekend's competition - not really what I wanted after similar conditions the previous weekend! Shot pretty well with just a few lapses of judgement - seem to have now acquired a cold and it may account for a couple of sloppy shots Sunday - rest and recuperation required before the Cambridge quadruple 720 next weekend.
