Wow, that was a tough weekend of endurance archery! Baking hot Saturday and breezy. Slightly less hot Sunday but more breezy. Shot decently Saturday but with one or two disappointing shots to finish leading by 8 with 1375. Started well Sunday but performance slowly withered just like I did, to finish with 1363 and completely exhausted! Won overall by 23 points and received a really really nice glass trophy - Andoba competitions always hand out great trophies so it's really nice to get a placing. Pauline Burfitt also sponsored by Wales Archery won the ladies compound - nice one Pauline!

A good weekend had at Clophill in Bedfordshire. Shot 685 and qualified 7th on the first day. Won my first head to head on a single arrow shoot off. Then in my second match I needed a 10 with my last arrow to win, but shot an 8 and lost by a point! Second day I qualified 6th with 691 - my first half was 352 and I thought I was maybe going to get my first 700 score, but a half hour break midway did me no favours and I shot the second half rather averagely. I won my first head to head but lost my second.
Shot for England in Belfast for the Euronations and Commonwealth Championships for Europe. I cam 4th overall in the FITA on a tricky day with 1346. As a team we won the men's compound trophy, the mixed compound trophy and the overall team trophy, so a very successful weekend for Team England!
