Wow - what an experience was the ArcheryGB National Series Finals 2014! The pressure felt immense on that stage as every competitor I spoke to seemed to agree. Scary but hugely enjoyable. I went out against the awesome Adam in my 1st match in what was probably not a very entertaining match to watch as Adam shot great for a match opener and was always well in the lead. So I didn't feel I'd shot that well, but looking at the other matches my score was the 4th best of the 1/4s and seems to have placed me 5th overall in the series - not too shabby really! Big thx to coach Kerr and finalist Mark for the entertainment and support over the weekend. Also a huge thx to all the people who made the event possible & run like clockwork (well, it appeared so from our end!) - especially Mr Nott. Much appreciation needs to go also to my sponsors Wales Archery Specialists and Optical Hardware Ltd, ( Visionary, Ostara and Olivon binoculars and telescopes ) Loads of pics to add to an album, so hope to get them posted soon. Cheers everyone - it was emotional...
