Really thrilled to have been a member of the English compound team winning gold at the Home Nations tournament at Lilleshall this weekend - Scotland ran us a close race but we got there by the skin of our teeth! In the concurrently running British Target Championships I finished 5th. A little disappointing given my start on Saturday qualifying 2nd for the head to heads, but a 6th in Sunday's 1440 too means I shot decently and was just let down in one end of a head to head match when unfortunately it really counted and there was no opportunity to make up for the mistake. There are some technique issues I need to work on as I really need to be making the most of the few and far calm days we are having this summer. |
